Jose Pena's biography!
I create experimental abstract expressionist work using acrylic and mixed media, driven by a need to externalize emotion that resists language. My vibrant palette isn’t decorative—it’s confrontational, pushing intensity to the edge of discomfort. I build and destroy layers, allowing instability, friction, and imbalance to shape the final composition. The result is work that feels in motion—restless, unresolved, and deeply human.
